Iraq's Karrar Jassim Joins Iran's Sanat Naft Abadan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iraqi midfielder Karrar Jassim has penned a one-year contract with Iranian Sanat Naft Abadan football team.
The former Tractor Sazi player, is reunited with Faraz Kamalvand, who was appointed as Abadan-based coach last week.
Jassim, 29, started his playing career in Iran football with Tractor Sazi in 2009 under leadership of Kamalvand.
He is the second summer signing of Sanat Naft Abadan. The team completed the signing of Gostaresh Foolad captain Morteza Asadi on Saturday.
Kamalvand replaced Firooz Karimi in Sanat Naft after parting company with Gostaresh Foolad.
Sanat Naft finished in 12th place in Iran Professional League.
