Italy Match Was Hard for Iran, U-21 Volleyball Coach Ataei Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran U-21 volleyball coach Behrouz Ataei says that his boys did a difficult task to beat Italy in the FIVB U-21 World Championship.
Iran overplayed Italy 3:0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-21) on Friday and didn’t give its rival any chance to make at least one set.
“This match was hard but we don’t pay a lot of attention to it. Tomorrow (on Sunday) will be another difficult one against Ukraine,” Ataei told fivb.org.
Rasoul Aghchehli captain team Iran also said: “It was a good match for us. We had a very good analytical tactic."
"The Italians are a good team in Europe with a great system and tactic but we proved to be stronger.”
