Cuba U-21 Volleyball Team Plays Different Style, Iran Coach Ataei Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran U-21 volleyball coach Behrouz Ataei says that they lost to Cuba in the world championship since the Caribbean country is playing different style of volleyball.
Iran was defeated against Cuba 3-2 (25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 13-25, 15-8) in Pool E in Brno, Czech Republic on Tuesday.
“Cuba is playing a different style of volleyball from ours. They do not play tactical volleyball. We can play with each other at 50% to 50%, but unfortunately we lost this match,” Ataei said.
Rasoul Aghchehli, captain of Iran, also said: “The match was very hard and I must say Cuba has a really strong team.”
