FIVB Volleyball U-21 World Championship: Iran Loses to Poland

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Poland 3-2 (27-29, 25-21, 20-25, 25-20, 15-11) in Pool E of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-21 World Championship on Thursday.

Tomasz Fornal was the best scorer for Poland with 20 points. Bartosz Kwolek and captain Jakub Kochanowski followed with 17 and 16, respectively.

Iran’s captain Rasoul Aghchehli was once again the best scorer of the match with 25 points.

Behrouz Ataei’s boys have been scheduled to face Argentina in 5th-8th place classification match on Saturday.

The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship is the nineteenth edition of the international volleyball tournament and the world championship for men's national teams under the age of 21, organized by the sport's world governing body, FIVB.
