Iran’s FM Holds Talks with Foreign Counterparts

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held telephone conversations with his counterparts from four Asian and African countries to discuss the bilateral and regional issues.

In separate telephone contacts on Friday, the top Iranian diplomat spoke with the foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kenya.

In the conversations, Foreign Minister Zarif and the foreign diplomats talked about the status of bilateral ties and the latest regional developments.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s administration maintains that expansion of relations with all countries, particularly the neighbors, is a top priority in the country’s foreign policy agenda.
