TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The European Union's Deputy Foreign Policy Chief Helga Maria Schmid called on all parties to the 2015 nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), to implement all provisions of the deal, including those lifting anti-Iran sanctions.

During the JCPOA joint commission meeting held in Vienna on Friday, the parties of the deal reviewed the status of the sanctions-lifting and “the Chair stressed the need to implement the JCPOA in good faith and in all its provisions,” Schmid, who chaired the meeting, said in a statement after the session.

She also pointed to a recent report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and said, “The parties welcomed the latest report from the IAEA verifying Iran's continued adherence to its nuclear-related commitments and the Chair underlined the need for continued compliance”.
