Arsal Liberation Means Boost of Lebanon Deterrence

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Full liberation of Syria-Lebanon border, the Arsal region in particular, after Lebanese Army and Hezbollah resistance movement’s joint operation would boost Lebanon’s deterrence.

On Sunday, a ceasefire agreed between Lebanese army, the Hezbollah group and Daesh terrorists via mediators came into force.

Lebanon Hezbollah resistance movement Leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah on Monday declared that the mission for expel of Daesh (also known as ISIS or ISIL) from Lebanese territory has been accomplished.

According to the deal, around 600 terrorists and family members have now left Lebanon and crossed the border into eastern Syria.

The recent victory and the Lebanese security forces’ control over volatile borders is in fact a historic one because this is the first time that Daesh make agreement with a foe to leave the battlefield and in the meantime, Lebanon is the first Syria neighbor that succeeded to liberate all its borders.

The victory in Arsal also showed that the balancing triangle of army, nation and resistance movement is a golden force that can guarantee Lebanon domestic and border security.

During the one-month long fight against Takfiri terrorists, the Lebanese people in particular those in the borders showed their steadfastness in fighting terrorists.

This victory has not only proved the Lebanese Army competence but also foiled the Zionist regime and US propaganda ploys that accused Hezbollah of being the reason behind terrorists move to occupy Lebanon border areas.

Also, the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement proved that it is ready to make any sacrifice to defend followers of all religious groups against enemies of Lebanon.
