Iran’s Bank Sarmayeh Learn Opponents at FIVB Club World Championship

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Bank Sarmayeh of Iran has learned its rivals at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship.

The tournament will take place in Lodz, Opole and Krakow from December 11-17.

Teams are divided into two pools of four with teams playing each other in a round-robin system in the cities of Lodz and Opole. The top two teams from each pool will progress to the semifinals and final to be played in Krakow.

Bank Sarmayeh has been pitted against Lube Civitanova from Italy, holder Sada Cruzeiro and Polish champion ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle in Pool A. The four teams will play in Opole.

In Pool B, wild card and PlusLiga runner-up PGE Skra Belchatow will take on European champion Zenit Kazan from Russia, Club Ciudad de Bolivar from Argentina and Shanghai Volleyball Club from China. The four teams will play in Lodz.
