Yemen Asks Airlines to Avoid Saudi, UAE Airports

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Yemen army spokesman asked all airline companies to avoid airports in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia after it fired a ballistic missile at Riyadh airport in retaliation of Saudi-led coalition crimes in Yemen.

The Yemeni army spokesperson declared that in the missile attack against the King Khalid international airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, they “tried to avoid civilian casualties.”

“The missile that targeted King Khalid airport, was a warning shot and we warn all companies to prevent landing of their planes in the UAE and Saudi Arabia airports,” he added.

The Yemeni official, meantime, said Yemenis have used the Russian and Korean experience to increase the range and improve the accuracy of  their missiles.

He warned that Sana’a has more counter-attack options, if the Saudi-led coalition continues stricking Yemen.

A spokesperson for the Yemeni army confirmed on Sunday that the Arab country’s military forces targeted the King Khalid international airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by a long-range ballistic missile.

The Saudi regime also confirmed the missile attack.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than two and half years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.
