Naft va Gaz Beaten by Muscat at Asian Handball Club League Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Naft va Gaz of Iran suffered its third defeat in a row at the 20th Asian Men’s Handball Club League Championship.
On Friday, the Iranian outfit suffered a close 25-24 loss to Oman’s Muscat.
Naft va Gaz failed to qualify for the competition’s semi-final.
The team had already lost to Qatar’s Al Duhail and Sharjah of the UAE.
Pool B consists of Club India, Al Ahli of Qatar, Uzbekistan’s Rkor, Al Najma of Bahrain and Iraq’s Al Shurta.
The competition is being held at Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, in Hyderabad, India from November 20 to 30.
