Iran Women’s Compound Team Wins Bronze at Asian Archery Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian women’s team claimed a bronze medal at the Asian Archery Championships on Thursday.
Iran, consisting of Geesa Bybordy, Parisa Baratchi and Fereshteh Ghorbani, finished in third place after defeating Bangladesh 229-217 in the bronze medal match.
India defeated South Korea 230-227 in the final match.
On Wednesday, Sogand Rahmani won a silver medal at the individual recurve after losing to her North Korean rival in the final match.
The Asian Archery Championships have brought athletes from 32 countries together in Dhaka, Bangladesh from Nov. 24 to Dec. 1.
