Persepolis Routs Zob Ahan in Iran Professional League

In the match held in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Ali Alipour put Persepolis into the lead in the 22nd minute and Kamal Kamyabinia made it 2-0 in the 35th minute.

Zob Ahan striker Morteza Tabrizi failed to convert his penalty in the 40th minute.

Persepolis Nigerian striker Godwin Mensha found the back of the net in the 70th minute and substitute Farshad Ahmadzadeh was on target with a header in the 79th minute.

Also, Pars Jonoubi Jam played out a goalless draw with Naft Tehran, Sanat Naft and Tractor Sazi finished in 1-1 draw and Padideh defeated Siahjamegan 2-0.

With one game in hand, Persepolis cemented its place at top of the table with 30 points, four points ahead of Pars Jonoubi.
