The Iranian won a silver medal in 10m air pistol at the ongoing 10th Asia Youth Olympics Games qualification tournament in Wako City, Japan.
Gold medal went to India’s Saurabh Chaudhary who shot a record score of 243.1 in the final to storm to the top of the podium.
Salavati took the silver with 236.2 points, while Korea’s Shin Okcheol completed the podium with 217.6 points.
The 2018 Youth Olympics Games will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from Oct. 6 to 18.
