Thousands of Yemenis Rally in Sa’ada on 1000th Day of Saudi Aggression

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Thousands of Yemenis took to the streets of the northwestern province of Sa’ada to protest the Saudi regime’s unrelenting airstrikes against the impoverished Arab country on the third anniversary of the kingdom’s war on Yemen.

The demonstrators were holding flags and banners reading, “Death to America and Death to Israel.”

They strongly condemned the ongoing Saudi aggression against Yemeni civilians, saying that Washington and the Zionist regime of Israel are both accomplices to Saudi war crimes in Yemen.

The demonstration marked the 1000th day since the Saudi regime and its allies launched the devastating war on the country.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than two years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
