TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian football club Zob Ahan will play Aizawl of India in the AFC Champions League play-off match in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium on Tuesday.

Aizawl will become the first club from India to play the AFC Champions League play-off, SportsKeeda wrote.

If Zob Ahan defeats Paulo Meneses’s Aizawl in the single-legged match, it will be placed in Group B alongside Al Duhail (Qatar), Al Wahda (UAE) and PFC Lokomotiv (Uzbekistan).

Zob Ahan FC is yet to lose a game since December 1, 2017. The team is also the runner up of the 2010 edition of the AFC Champions League.

Amir Ghalenoei’s side will be looking for its seventh appearance in the competition against the Indian team.
