Iran’s Keyhani Claims Gold at Asian Indoor Athletics Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hossein Keyhani from Iran won a gold medal in the men’s 3,000 meters of the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships on Thursday.
The Iranian runner clocked 8:37:68 to win a gold medal in the event.
Yaser Salem from Qatar won the silver medal with a time of 8:38:02 and bronze medal went to Iran’s Homayoon Hemmati with 8:38:97.
The eighth edition of the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships are being held at the Aftab-e Enqelab Sports Complex in Tehran, Iran.
Iran participate in the competition with 39 athletes.
Competition is due to conclude on Saturday (February 3).
