Several Saudi Mercenaries Killed in Yemeni Army Attacks

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The forces of the Yemeni army and Popular Committees, in retaliatory attacks against Saudi-paid forces, killed several mercenaries in the province of Marib, north of Yemen.

The Yemeni forces fired Katyusha rockets on gathering site of Saudi-paid mercenaries in Marib province, a military official told Saba News Agency on Sunday.

According to the report, the Yemeni troops’ rockets killed and injured dozens of Saudi mercenaries in Mas Camp in Jida’an district.

In the meantime, the missile command of the Yemen army and Popular Committees on Saturday shelled gathering sites of Saudi mercenaries in Taiz province, a military official told Saba on Sunday.

The Yemeni troops fired Katyusha rockets on Saudi mercenaries’ gathering sites in Yakhtel and killed and injured dozens of mercenaries in Salw using artillery.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni troops pounded mercenaries’ armored vehicles west of Khaled Camp in Moazea district in Taiz.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for almost three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, an ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
