Iran’s Ashkan Dejagah Sidelined until April

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Nottingham Forest’s Ashkan Dejagah has undergone surgery on an injury and is understood to be facing up to two months on the sidelines.

Reds boss Aitor Karanka revealed the Iran international suffered a knee injury in training last week – and he could now be ruled out of action until April, nottinghampost reported.

The 31-year-old has only made one appearance for Forest, following his move to the City Ground on a deal until the end of the season on transfer deadline day last month.

He made his debut as a sub for the Reds in their 2-0 defeat to his former club Fulham at Craven Cottage.
