Iranian Teams Learn Rivals at Asian Club Volleyball Championship

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian men’s and women’s teams have learned their rivals at the Asian Club Volleyball Championship.

The Iranian men’s volleyball club has been drawn in Pool A along with Japan and Qatar.

Pool B consists of Kazakhstan, Iraq and China while Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand are in Pool C.

The competition will be held in Myanmar.

Iranian women’s team has also learned its rivals in the competition.

Iran has been pitted against host Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei and Vietnam in Pool B.

Pool A consists of Thailand, Japan and China and the Philippines, Indonesia, Fiji and Sri Lanka are in Pool C.

The AVC Club Volleyball Championship is an international sports competition for club volleyball teams, currently held annually and organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation, the Asian volleyball federation.

From the year of 2004, the names of AVC Club Tournaments changed from "AVC Cup Men's/Women's Club Tournaments" to "Asian Men's/Women's Club Volleyball Championship".
