In comments on Saturday morning, Colonel Niknafs said the cyberattack has only disconnected or slowed internet services in Iran, but has not resulted in any data leak or unauthorized access.
The situation has returned to normal, the commander said, adding that necessary measures have been taken to prevent a repetition of such incidents.

In Iran, Internet services and websites became out of reach due to a problem in the datacenters of a number of major internet service providers.
According to a security report from the Cisco Talos team, as many as 168,000 systems in the world may be affected by the flaw.
