Iran’s Parliament Speaker Congratulates Muslim Countries on Ramadan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani congratulated Islamic countries on the start of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, calling the occasion an opportunity to boost unity among Muslim nations.
Ramadan is an opportunity to strengthen empathy and unity among Muslim nations and end disagreements, Larijani said in a message to his counterparts in Islamic countries on Wednesday.
“I deeply believe that the integrity and solidarity of Muslim countries will lead to a lasting peace and security in the Muslim world,” he said.
The parliament speaker also wished health and success for his counterparts and prosperity for Islamic countries.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and a time when Muslims across the world fast during the hours of daylight.
