Yemeni Forces Kill Pro-Hadi Ringleader in Jawf

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Yemen’s army and fighters from popular committees killed a high-profile pro-Hadi military commander in Yemen's northern province of Jawf, a report said.

According to the report, carried by Saba news agency on Tuesday, the ringleader was killed along with his bodyguards in a retaliatory attack by the Yemeni troops in the area of Sabrain in the desert district of Khab Washaf.

Two military vehicles belonging to the mercenaries were also destroyed in the province, it added.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for over three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, an ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
