We Know World Cup’s Secret of Success: Pejman Montazeri
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Veteran Team Melli defender Pejman Montazeri says they know the secret of success in the 2018 World Cup.
Iran has been drawn in Group B along with Morocco, Spain and Portugal in Group B.
"In the last World Cup, we had players who had more experience of playing together before going to Brazil,” said Esteghlal defender Montazeri, who at 34 is one of the oldest players in the team.
"This time, we have younger players who are determined to show that Iran can play against the best," he added.
“We have players who are playing in Russian Premier League and it's an absolute privilege for them. Also, Iranian people believe in their team and we know that what’s the secret of success,” Montazeri stated.
