Death Toll in Iran Factory Fire Rises to 2 (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The death toll from an inferno at a paint factory near the Iranian capital of Tehran increased to two after firefighters retrieved the body of another victim on Tuesday.
Speaking to Tasnim, the spokesman of Tehran Fire Department said the charred body of the second victim was found behind a wall in the blazing factory in the early hours of Tuesday.
He said the firefighters were still searching the whole area for other possible victims.
The paint factory, located between Tehran and the city of Karaj, caught fire around 3 pm on Monday, damaging properties and burning up to 15 cars.
