Turkey's Trabzonspor Sets Sights on Iran’s Majid Hosseini

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Trabzonspor from Turkey looks to sign Iranian international defender Majid Hosseini.

The 22-year-old, who started his playing career in 2014 in Esteghlal, will most likely leave his team following good performance in the 2018 World Cup.

Hosseini came off the bench in the match against Morocco and was in starting line-up for the matches against Spain and Portugal in Group B of the 2018 World Cup.

He had already been linked with a move to Belgian Pro League, where his former teammates Kaveh Rezaei and Omid Norafkan have already joined R. Charleroi.

Trabzonspor has also shown interest in signing Morteza Pouraliganji.

The Iranian defender played against Morocco, Spain and Portugal in the World Cup.

Pouraliganji is a member of Qatar’s Al Sadd at the moment.
