TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Gazan children gathered at a park where two kids were recently martyred by an Israeli airstrike that was claimed to have targeted a Hamas position in the besieged enclave.

Photos posted on the tweeter account of the Palestinian TV channel “Quds TV” show sad faces of Palestinian children who are demanding the world to make the Israeli child killings stop at a theme park where two of their friends were killed.

Amir al-Nimri, 15, and Luay Kaheel, 16, died of their wounds on Saturday shortly after an air strike targeted the theme park in al-Kutaiba, an area in western Gaza, the health ministry said.

The al-Kutaiba square is adjacent to a theme park frequently visited by families over the weekend, especially during the summer months.

Witnesses told Al Jazeera that the two teenagers who lost their lives were playing on the roof of the semi-abandoned building and described a scene where "there was glass everywhere".

At least 30 people were wounded in the raids, which targeted several neighborhoods in Gaza.

Following the attack on al-Kutaiba, a ceasefire agreement was reached through international and regional mediation efforts, Palestinian officials said on Saturday.
