IRGC Releases Photos of Terrorists Killed in West Iran (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force on Monday published photos of terrorists killed in a recent clash with the IRGC forces in the western province of Kermanshah and the weapons and equipment captured from them.

The IRGC Ground Force’s Najaf Ashraf Base released the photos two days after its forces smashed “an anti-revolutionary terrorist cell” in Kermanshah.

According to the public relations office of the IRGC base, the terrorist team had infiltrated into Nowdeshah border region in the province of Kermanshah on Saturday evening to carry out acts of sabotage and upset security in the country.

The IRGC Ground Force troops detected and chased the terrorists, killing three of them in a gunfight and wounding another one, the statement added.

One of the local members of Basij (voluntary) forces was also martyred in the operation, it said.

The IRGC forces confiscated weapons, ammunition, and other equipment from the terrorists, according to the statement.

The IRGC is tasked with protecting the country’s northwestern and southeastern borders.
