Esteghlal, who are preparing for the Iran Professional League (IPL) new season, had been also scheduled to travel to Germany to play Karlsruher but the match has reportedly been cancelled.
The Blues will return to Tehran from their training camp in Turkey this weekend.
Meanwhile, Amir Hossein Fathi replaced Reza Eftekhari as acting president of Esteghlal.
Esteghlal will start the new IPL season with a match against Paykan on July 27 in Tehran.
