In his message to King Philippe and Prime Minister Charles Michel of Belgium, President Rouhani expressed congratulations on the national day of the country.
"Given common grounds and collaboration between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Belgium, I hope relations further develop and political and economic potentials tapped to promote friendship between the two peoples," the message said.
The Iranian president also wished prosperity for the nation of Belgium.
