Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Teen in West Bank Raid: Medics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian teenager during a raid in the occupied West Bank on Monday, the Palestinian health ministry said.
The Palestinian health minister said the dead youth was 15 years old and suffered a chest wound, Reuters reported.
The Israeli military claimed its forces responded with live fire in Dheishe refugee camp, near Bethlehem, after Palestinians attacked them with rocks.
On Friday, Israeli aircraft and tanks hit targets across the Gaza Strip, killing four people in the coastal enclave.
The Palestinians were shot dead during protests along the frontier with Israel, Gaza's health ministry said.
The flare-up is the latest in months of tensions that have ratcheted up fears of a wider conflict between Israel and Palestinian resistance forces.
