Brazilian Striker Claudir Joins Iran’s Padideh

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Brazilian striker Claudir Marini Junior has joined Iranian football club Padideh on Saturday.

The 25-year-old forward has penned a one-year contract with Mashhad-based football club for an undisclosed fee.

Marini, who started his career in Flamengo SP in 2011, most recently played for Iran's Esteghlal Khuzestan.

Padideh, who leads by ex-Iran captain Yahya Golmohammadi, lost to Persepolis in its first match and defeated Esteghlal Khuzestan in its following match.
