Iran Beats Kazakhstan in FIBA U-18 Asian Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran earned its second victory in Pool A of the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Asian Championship.
On Monday, Iran defeated Kazakhstan 86-54 in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
The Iranian team, who had defeated Indonesia 80-50 on Saturday, will meet Japan on Tuesday.
A total of 16 teams have been grouped in four groups of four teams.
The 2018 FIBA Under 18 Asian Championship got underway in Nonthaburi on August 5 and will run until August 11.
The top four teams will qualify for the 2019 FIBA Under 19 Basketball World Cup.
