World Wheelchair Basketball C’ships: Iran to Play Australia in Third-Placed Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will face Australia in the 2018 World Wheelchair Basketball Championships third-placed match on Sunday.
In the men's competition, Iran lost to Britain 86-63 in semi-final.
Britain will take on Paralympic champion the United States in the final.
The American side dispatched Australia 84-59 in the semis.
The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) World Championships for both men and women are taking place from August 16 to 26 in Hamburg, Germany.
The 2018 IWBF World Championships feature 16 men’s teams and 12 women’s teams vying for the world title.
