Yemeni Forces Launch Three Ballistic Missiles at Saudi Positions in Najran


TEHRAN (Tasnim) - A number of ballistic missiles were fired at Saudi Arabia’s Najran region near the border with Yemen, causing casualties on Saudi troops.

 The Yemeni al-Masirah TV said on Wednesday that the missile unit of the Yemeni army and popular Ansarullah forces launched three Zelzal-1 ballistic missiles on a gatherings of Saudi forces in southwestern Saudi Arabian region of Najran.

According to the al-Masirah Net the missiles left a number casualties on the Saudi troops and their supported mercenary forces.

Also, the Yemeni channel said that the Ansarullah forces downed a spy drone belonging to the Saudi forces in Jizan province.

The Air Defense unit of the Yemeni Army and popular Ansarullah forces shot down an advanced spy drone belonging to the Saudi forces in Al-Tuwal border crossing in Jizan.

A military official told the net that the advanced spy drone was a Chinese-made CASC CH-4 Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) that was downed by a Yemeni undisclosed weapon.

The Yemeni Air Defenses units have been able to shot down four Saudi-operated surveillance drones on several fronts in this month.
