Millions of ‘chironomidae’ mosquitoes attacked the city of Taganrog in southeastern Russia. Swarms of insects covered all the possible surfaces, turning air into a frenzied mass of mosquitoes, hindering breathing and seeing, Gordonua reported.

Local authorities report that insects do not pose a threat to residents and the environment.
