Iran's Maedeh Borhani Joins Turkey’s Kecioren Volleyball Team

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian national volleyball team's captain Maedeh Borhani has joined Turkish volleyball club Kecioren Municipality Bağlum Spor.

Sports

The 30-year-old Opposite Striker has joined Kecioren on a one-year contract.

Borhani has joined Kecioren from Bulgarian volleyball club Shumen W.

She joined Shumen W last year and became the first ever Iranian woman volleyball player to play in a foreign league.

Borhani has also played in Iranian clubs Sepahan, Giti Pasand and Persepolis.
