In a statement, the police said that 101 people were detained and 78 individuals were arrested throughout the Senate office buildings for crowding, obstructing or incommoding.
An additional 16 people, identified as males, were later arrested between East Capitol Street and Maryland Avenue, NE, police said. They were also charged with crowding, obstructing or incommoding.
Authorities said six people were arrested and charged with unlawful conduct for their actions at the Senate Gallery in the US Capitol Building, The Hill reported.
The arrests came as the Senate moved forward with a procedural vote to end debate on Kavanaugh's nomination. The chamber is expected to vote on his confirmation Saturday.
The protests came as senators viewed as swing votes on Kavanaugh's nomination, including Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), announced they would vote in favor of Kavanaugh's confirmation.
Hundreds of people have descended on the Capitol as the judge's confirmation process nears its conclusion.
On Thursday, Capitol Police said that it had arrested more than 300 people for "unlawfully demonstrating" in multiple Senate Office Buildings. Actress and comedian Amy Schumer and actress Emily Ratajkowski, who was spotted next to Schumer, were among those arrested on Thursday.
The protests occurred a week after Kavanaugh and his first accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, alleging that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a high school party in the 1980s.
Kavanaugh has fiercely denied the accusation. He has also denied sexual misconduct claims from two other women, Julie Swetnick and Deborah Ramirez.
