Iran’s Larestan Beaten at Asian Women's Club League Handball

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Larestan of Iran lost to Almaty Club at the 2018 Asian Women's Club League Handball Championship on Saturday.

Larestan was defeated against the Kazakh team 31-21 at Universal Sports Complex Dostyk in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Larestan started the campaign with a 42-25 defeat to Kaysar Club but beat India’s T-Sports Club 31-14 in its second match.

Larestan has been scheduled to face Uzbechka Club on Sunday.

The 2018 Asian Women's Club League Handball Championship is the third edition of the competition held from October 3 to 9 in Almaty.

It’s organized by the Kazakhstan Handball Federation under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation.

It’s the official competition for women's handball clubs of Asia crowning the Asian champions.
