Asian Para Games: Younes Seifipour Wins Gold

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Younes Seifipour from Iran claimed a gold medal at the Asian Para Games on Monday.

The athlete won a gold medal at the Men's Club Throw F32 with a throw of 30.16m.

Taaeb Al Mashayekhi claimed a silver with 29.11m and Kuwaiti Mohammad Nasser snatched a bronze throwing 24.76m.

Also, Behzad Azizi (65.62) and Erfan Hosseini (58.17) claimed a silver and bronze medal respectively at the Men's Javelin Throw F12/13. Gold medal went to Aleksandr Svechnikov from Uzbekistan with 67.92m.

bout 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.

The Asian Para Games will run through October 13th.
