Asian Para Games: Para Shooter Shojaei Snatches Gold
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Roghayeh Shojaei from Iran claimed a gold medal at the R2 - Women's 10M Air Rifle Standing - SH1 – Women at the 2018 Asian Para Games on Monday.
Shojaei won the gold medal with 247 points. Her Chinese opponents claimed silver and bronze medals with 246.1 and 224.9 respectively.
Earlier in the day, Shojaei’s compatriot Sareh Javanmardi had won a gold medal at the P4 - Mixed 50M Free Pistol - SH1 – Mixed
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13th.
