Swimmer Izadyar Seizes His Second Gold at Asian Para Games

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Shahin Izadyar claimed his second gold medal at swimming event at the 2018 Asian Para Games on Monday.

The para swimmer won the gold medal at the Men's 100M Freestyle S10 with a time of 00:57.15.

Kazakhstan’s Dmitriy Li snatched the silver with 00:57.97 and the bronze medal went to Indian Sanjay Patil Swapnil with 00:59.77.

Izadyar had won a gold medal at the Men's 100M Butterfly S10 on Sunday.

About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.

The Asian Para Games will run through October 13th.
