Iranian Thrower Sepahvand Seizes Gold at Asian Para Games

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Farzad Sepahvand won a gold medal at the Men's Discus Throw F43/44,F62/64 of the 2018 Asian Para Games on Tuesday.

Sepahvand claimed the gold, throwing 54.61m.

Kumar Surendran Pillai Aneesh from India won the silver with 45.41 and his countryman Pradeep Pradeep claimed the bronze with a throw of 46.64.

About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.

The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
