Swimmer Izadyar Wins Third Gold at Asian Para Games

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian swimmer claimed his third gold medal at the 2018 Asian Para Games on Tuesday.

Izadyar finished in first place at the Men's 200M Individual Medley SM10 of with a time of 02:27.07.

Kazakhstan’s Dmitriy Li won the silver with 02:27.99 and bronze medal went to Malaysian Dawan Fraidden with 02:30.66.

Izadyar had previously won two gold medals at the Men's 100M Butterfly S10 and Men's 100M Freestyle S10 in the competition.     

About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.

The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
