Iranian Sport Minister Masoud Soltanifar met with Belarus Ambassador to Iran Yuri Ivanovic Lazarcic in the ministry.
Soltanifar requested Ivanovic to arrange a friendly match between Belarus and Iran in Tehran before the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
Belarus sits 80th in FIFA world rankings while Iran is 33rd.
