In Tehran’s Takhti Stadium, Esteghlal got back on track after beating Saipa 2-1.
Ali Dashti was on target for Saipa just seven minutes into the match and Mohammad Daneshgar cancelled out the goal in the 23rd minute.
Allahyar Sayyadmanesh was brought down in Saipa’s penalty area in the 80th minute and Vouria Ghaffouri scored from the spot one minute later.
In Isfahan, Sepahan earned a late 3-2 win over Nassaji.
Sepahan remained in second place, one point behind IPL leader Padideh.
In Ahvaz, Esteghlal Khuzestan lost to its guest Pars Jonoubi 2-0 and in Tabriz Machine Sazi was held to a 1-1 draw by Naft Masjed Soleyman.
And struggling Sepidrood drew 0-0 with Zob Ahan.
