Palestinian Dies after Israeli Forces Storm West Bank Village

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A 23-year-old Palestinian man who suffered injuries during confrontation with Israeli forces in the West Bank village of Tamun died on Wednesday morning.

Muhammad Basharat was killed after suffering injuries by live ammunition and gas inhalation Tuesday night due to clashes with the Israeli military who stormed Tamun village, south of Tubas in the West Bank.

According to medical sources, Bisharat was shot in the chest and three other youths were wounded with live bullets.

Al-Wattan reported that the Israeli army entered the village around 1:00 a.m. to conduct nightly arrests and as the result a conflict then ensued between the soldiers and dozens of Palestinian, which ended up with the Israeli forces firing heavy and indiscriminate bullets and gas canisters at the town, injuring a number of people.

Basharat was evacuated to a hospital in Jenin, where he was pronounced dead in the next morning, reports said.
