TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian students were allowed to watch the important AFC Champions League match between Iran’s Persepolis and Japan’s Kashima at their schools across the country.

Iranian school children were allowed to watch the match between Persepolis and Kashima after the Minister of Education Seyed Mohammad Bathaei gave approval to the move, due to its importance for millions of fans across the country.

The match ended with Kashima Antlers' 2-0 win in Ibaraki. They secured the lead in the AFC Champions League final on Saturday, leaving no choice for Persepolis to make up to its loss by at least 3 goals in the return game in Iran’s Azadi stadium.
