According to reports by Syria’s SANA news agency the army returned heavy fire at terrorists after their attack, leaving a number of them killed or injured and forced others to flee the area.
Another report indicated that the army’s artillery units and rocket launchers shelled the positions of terrorists in the village of Kherbet al-Naqous in retaliation to their rocket and missile attacks on Sahl al-Ghab region.
