Syrian Army Repels Terrorists’ Attack on Military Posts in Hama Province
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Syrian army troops thwarted a direct attack by militants from ‘Turkistani Party’ terrorist group that attempted to take control of army positions in al-Masasna town, north of Hama province.
According to reports by Syria’s SANA news agency the army returned heavy fire at terrorists after their attack, leaving a number of them killed or injured and forced others to flee the area.
Another report indicated that the army’s artillery units and rocket launchers shelled the positions of terrorists in the village of Kherbet al-Naqous in retaliation to their rocket and missile attacks on Sahl al-Ghab region.
