Shooting in California Injures Dozens
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Dozens of people were reportedly shot after a gunman opened fire in a bar and restaurant in the US state of California.
Terrified people inside Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, part of the Greater Los Angeles area in California, hid under tables during the shooting, The Mirror reported.
It is thought the gunman may still be at large and at least one police officer is reported to have been injured.
As officers were responding, there were additional reports of gunfire.
Officers on the scene indicated that approximately 30 shots had been fired and that victims would be at multiple scenes as they fled.
At least four ambulances were called to the scene to treat multiple victims, according to the Ventura County Star.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the incident at 99 Rolling Oaks Drive around 11:30 pm local time.
