Syrian Army Takes on ISIL Terrorists in Eastern Sweida (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Syrian army forces attacked the ISIL militants in Eastern Sweida province using heavy artillery fire and airstrikes to expel terrorists from its last stronghold in the province.
The government troops managed to liberate large part of the region including Sheikh Hussein Tomb and the surrounding areas.
Footage taken from the battlefield shows the Russian jets and Syrian helicopters jointly bombing terrorists’ positions in al-Safa Hills.
The government forces scored a massive advance in the al-Safa Hills this weekend after fierce battles with the ISIL terrorists.
